More about Ot-Couture

Sometimes, a single letter can tell the whole story.

For designer Merav Zimler, her journey began with a memory that still shapes her work today. At an empowerment workshop early in her career, the facilitator asked a question that seemed simple at first: 'What t-shirt did you wear into this room?' But the question carried a profound message—how do we choose to present ourselves to the world? Which version of ourselves do we allow others to see? This idea struck a chord with Merav and has continued to guide her as her design journey has evolved.

Ot-Couture was born at the dynamic crossroads of design, fashion, and typography. To bring her vision to life, Merav embarked on a creative journey, crafting a dress with a modern edge, uniquely adorned with a stylized letter. This fusion of bold design and personal expression makes each piece truly one-of-a-kind.

Beyond Ot-Couture, Merav is a minimalist designer, a graduate of both Wizo and Shenkar design schools, and the owner of BrandBakery - a boutique design studio where she meticulously handcrafts branding and visual language. She draws endless inspiration from life itself and is raising teenage twins with her partner, Eran.

Design Philosophy

Ot-Couture turns fashion into a powerful canvas for self-expression. Every piece is carefully crafted to empower individuals to share their stories through what they wear. By blending typography with fashion, Ot-Couture offers a unique, personalized experience—where a single letter can speak volumes.

Inspiration

Merav's designs are inspired by the power of the individual and the beauty of self-expression. She believes that fashion should be a reflection of one's inner self, a way to communicate without words. Her creations are a testament to the endless possibilities that emerge when creativity and individuality intertwine.

So, what's the letter that tells your story?
