The Technique

Inspired by a visit to a tablecloth printing studio in Italy, Ayelet honed her skills in the centuries-old art of block printing, which has become her signature technique. This intricate process involves meticulously hand-carving designs into blocks of wood or linoleum. These blocks are then carefully inked and pressed onto fabric, creating unique patterns and impressions. This hands-on approach ensures that no two pieces are ever exactly alike, imbuing each with its own distinct character and charm.
